Rebel Visions Files Patent for Personalized Electronic Software

The toy and game industry is a highly lucrative and competitive industry in which a product usually becomes successful only if at has one or more unique and distinctive characteristics. Customizing or personalizing a product for a particular customer is generally well received by the public because it gives the impression that the product was not mass-produced. Customized or personalized products are especially welcomed by children and as adults because they believe they are ‘unique’. To this end, books have been made in which the name of a specific child has been used for one of the characters in the book and the story line is about the specific child.

In recent years, electronic software programs (the term ‘electronic software programs’ is used herein broadly to include electronic games, electronic books and other similar software products, including educational software) have become so popular that they comprise a substantial portion of the toy industry. While some attempts have been made to personalize electronic software, these attempts have not been satisfactory because these programs are normally complex and are structured such that they are difficult to personalize.

Rebel Visions has discovered a way of personalizing electronic software programs which is very effective. In most cases, personalization of software programs consists of placing a name or image in static positions within the application. Rebel Visions has discovered a method to include those attributes in the application, however in a much more focused and interactive manner.

To demonstrate the usefulness of this new discovery, Rebel Visions is developing a children’s educational software series. The first of this series is Pnutz The Elephant™ Toddler v1.0. Pnutz The Elephant™ was created as an educational tool for young children. Children are born ready to learn and develop new skills. It is important to their future educational development to encourage this in a positive, fun, and exciting manner. This is the goal of the Pnutz The Elephant™ CD-ROM for toddlers (and younger). Children will learn not only from the content in the CD-ROM, but also through their interactions with their parents as they are playing the game together. The game was developed to encourage these interactions as part of your child’s learning experience.
